What to expect: The hotel lobby is open to the street and is lit with warm glowing marble lamps after dark. The pool deck is three floors below and a winding staircase accesses the beach. Vacationing families, honeymooners, and weekenders from Mexico City keep the hotel bustling with activity. The ambiance is casual and relaxed during the day, with many guests getting dressed up for their nighttime visits to area clubs and hotspots. The first five floors were recently renovated, giving a thoroughly modern slant to the still-tropical ambiance.

Built on a rocky bluff above world-famous Condesa Beach, the Fiesta Americana’s main attraction is its pool and sundeck, which fills up early in the day with families and other sun-worshippers. A staircase leads guests down three flights to the golden beach, with lounge chairs and palapas and a variety of water sports to keep you entertained. There are meeting and convention facilities to accommodate up to 450 guests and the business center has internet access and modern office equipment.
Extra Details: The hotel terrace makes for a great place to view the lights that ring Acapulco Bay at night. The Fiesta Kids Club opens from 11am-6pm and provides supervision and activities for kids from 5-12 years old.

Restaurant Chula Vista – Located on the pool-deck level, the hotel’s restaurant is open 7am-11pm and features seafood and international and Mexican cuisine. Meals are served buffet-style or a la carte. The dress is casual, though guests are requested to not wear their bathing suits while dining. True to its name, there is a commanding view of Acapulco Bay.
Snack Bar – A mobile snack bar is set up during lunch on busy days, either on the beach or near the pool area. Hamburgers, nachos, and hotdogs are served.
Chula Vista Pool Bar – Adjacent to the main restaurant, the pool bar is the ultra-casual spot for a cold drink in and around the pool. There is a palapa roof and swim-up bar, plus a few bar tables.

The Fiesta Americana Acapulco has two swimming pools with views of Acapulco Bay. The hotel beach is the most popular in town, with a multitude of water sports available nearby. A passport is required by many countries upon entry to their country. Also, a document indicating proof of citizenship is always required to re-enter the United States. In some instances (Mexico, Canada, etc.), a valid driver's license and a birth certificate will suffice as the proof of citizenship; however, as indicated many countries require a passport to gain entry to their country and the United States State Department "recommends" a passport as evidence of citizenship in ALL cases.
